Our reply to the letter from the Africa Refiners Association (ARA)

The answer of Public Eye to the letter from the African Refiners Association (ARA), which aims at distracting from the discussion on the responsibility of trading companies.
One day ahead of the publication of our report „Dirty Diesel: How Swiss Traders Flood Africa With Toxic Fuels“ we received a letter from the Africa Refiners Association (ARA). Several of the Swiss trading companies that we refer to in our report and that we are adressing with our campaign pointed to this letter when confronted with media inquiries. Here is our response to this obviously diversionary tactic of the African Refiners Association.
