Public Eye celebrates its 10th year: "Bond antagonist" exposes true villains in Davos

On the opening day of the world economic forum the Bern Declaration and Greenperace Switzerland present their "Public Eye Awards 2009".

The tenth anniversary edition of the awards ceremony will be hosted on January 28 by the current James Bond movie villain Anatole Taubman. Former German government minister Heiner Geissler and Susanne Leutenegger, social-democratic member of the Swiss parliament, will be the keynote speakers on the subject of corporate responsibility. Six companies have been shortlisted for this years shaming awards, including Tesco, Nestlé, Newmont Mining, and Bernische Kraftwerke BKW. Voting for the audience award takes place on www.publiceye.ch/en and the new "Positive Award" honors a particularly courageous employee and colleague.
